Aspiring Member of Parliament Muthomi 810 has promised to use CDF funds better if elected to office in the coming polls.
The businessman who is seeking election on a TSP ticket alleged misuse of CDF funds by the current office holder, saying if given the opportunity to be MP, education is something he would give priority.
“There is nothing as important as education. It is through education that our society will save itself from poverty”, he said.
810 through his initiative ‘Team Roho Safi’ on Friday gave out bursaries worth Kshs 500,000 to needy students at secondary, technical training institutes and university level, who received between Kshs 3,000-10,000.
Speaking during the function, the politician insisted on ensuring students attained form four certificate as a minimum level of education and their enrolment to technical courses.
He further noted the need for the youth to venture into agribusiness, with use of modern equipment and machinery for effective production.
