Following the order by H.E Uhuru Kenyatta to lift the dusk to dawn curfew in an announcement made at the 58th Mashujaa Day celebrations at Wang'uru stadium in Kirinyaga county, the National Police Service has confirmed that measures to close bars at 7 PM still exist.
On a statement on their twitter account, the service insists that the existing measures on closure of bars remains in place for now.
The police, in the statement still maintain that enforcement of violation of this measure is set to continue.
Uhuru cautioned the country is not yet out of the woods yet and went on to appeal to Kenyans to continue to observe the Ministry of Health containment measures.
