MICHENI RURIANI WITHDRAWS HIS MAARA MP CANDIDATURE.

Aviation professional and Maara MP aspirant in the 2022 general elections Micheni Ruriani alias Mitch Mitch has announced his withdrawal from the Maara parliamentary race.

The aspiring MP who announced his entry into politics in 2018 attributed his withdrawal to technicalities beyond his control noting the impossibilities to delink career and politics as expected due to contractual provisions.

“As you are aware, I was doing all this (entry to politics) while still pursuing my career and planning to exit completely with other public servants this year to be fully free on ground with my supporters. This is not to be. It has become impossible to delink as early as I expected due to other contractual provisions. Time is running out for other statutory deadlines and pressure is weighing me down” –Micheni Ruriani

Micheni thanked those who approved his candidature and committed to run the political journey with him to conclusion saying the level of acceptability was and is still overwhelming.

“I therefore regret to announce withdrawal of my candidature from the 2022 Maara MP race due to technicalities beyond my control. I tender my apology to my faithful supporters across Maara for this move. We started a journey and to this end we are putting a comma not a full stop” – Micheni Ruriani

Micheni has promised to announce his preferred candidate for the seat as campaigns approach asking those who believe in his leadership ideology to go with him along that path.

He was contesting the seat under the newly created Party of Peace and Democracy.
