RUTO:NOMINATIONS WILL BE FREE, FAIR AND DEMOCRATIC.

Deputy President and UDA Party Leader William Ruto has called for peaceful party nominations scheduled to take place on Thursday, where UDA is expected to conduct party primaries in 35 counties across the country.


With over 5000 aspirants participating in the elections, DP Ruto confirmed that the party was committed to free, fair and democratic nominations and asked aspirants to ensure their supporters are peaceful.


“I want to ask each and every aspirant to participate in the primaries peacefully and to make sure their supporters are peaceful. We have committed that the elections will be free, fair and democratic and have made all the necessary arrangements” – DP Ruto

According to Ruto, all election materials have been dispatched to various polling stations across the 35 counties conducting nominations and as a party, they expect the aspirants will cooperate with officials and have their agents in place, to work together and deliver successful party primaries.
