His unconventional choice was accompanied by a striking motorcade of electric vehicles and motorcycle outriders, captivating the nation's attention, a resounding declaration of his commitment to Africa's green energy transition.

The electric vehicle of choice was the MG Comet EV, a product of Morris Garages (MG), affiliated with SAIC Motor, a global automotive giant.

In the local market, it has been customized as the "Autopax Air EV Yetu."

This exceptional vehicle features remarkable attributes, including a tight 4.2-meter turning radius, a 17.3 kWh prismatic cell battery, a commendable single-charge range of 230 kilometers, and a zippy 42-horsepower electric motor. Moreover, it boasts over 55 i-Smart Tech features.

The design incorporates a 2010 mm wheelbase, McPherson strut front suspension, multi-link coil rear suspension, and electric power steering, ensuring a smooth and responsive ride. It also comes equipped with front disc and rear drum brakes for added safety.

The Autopax Air EV Yetu has undergone a rigorous battery of 39 tests to ensure both vehicle and battery safety.

Additionally, it features dual Front Airbags, ABS + EBD, front and rear 3-point seat belts, a rear parking camera and sensor, and a spacious interior.

The vehicle is not only cutting-edge in safety and performance but also in technology. It offers a digital key with Bluetooth technology and a twin-display touchscreen infotainment system to enhance the driving experience.

With accommodation for four passengers, the Autopax Air EV Yetu includes the MG e-Shield 3-3-3-8 package, encompassing a 3-year warranty, 3 years of roadside assistance, 3 free labor services (subject to terms and conditions), and an impressive 8-year/20,000-kilometer warranty on the battery pack.

This eco-conscious vehicle measures 2.974 meters in length, 1.505 meters in width, and 1.640 meters in height, making it compact and easy to maneuver.
