Public Service, Affirmative Action, and Gender CS Aisha Jumwa unveiled plans by the government to construct Huduma Centres in each constituency across the country.
CS Jumwa announced the ambitious plan during the first annual Huduma Centre Managers conference held at the Pride Inn Flamingo Beach Resort in Mombasa where she stressed that this monumental endeavor would be a collaborative effort with Members of Parliament to secure funding, ensuring these essential services become more accessible to citizens.
In her address, the CS lauded the Huduma CEO Ben Kai Chilumo and the entire Huduma Kenya leadership for their commitment to innovation and government digitization initiatives.
She praised advancements such as Service by Appointment and Track My Service, which have significantly improved service delivery.
Furthermore, CS Jumwa recognized the vital role played by Huduma Centre managers in making services accessible to all citizens.
She emphasized the importance of innovation as the driving force behind progress, aligning these digital initiatives with the Government's Digitalization Pillar.
In the pursuit of excellence, Jumwa urged everyone to remain vigilant against corruption and to continue providing services with dignity, courtesy, passion, and transparency.
The theme of the conference was "Huduma Kenya in the Digital Era."
