Tharaka Nithi Senatorial Aspirant under the Jubilee Party Paul Mugambi has vowed to embark on efforts to facilitate the development of a legislation for the promotion of representation of marginalized and minority groups once elected to office.

According to Article 100 of the Constitution of Kenya, Parliament shall enact legislation to promote the representation in Parliament of Women, Persons With Disabilities, Youth, Ethnic and other minorities and Marginalized communities.

Addressing residents at Mugwe during a joint Jubilee Party campaign, Paul Mugambi pledged to legislate for an all-inclusive government, focused on equal representation of residents from across the county and equal distribution of resources.

“Residents from every part of the county should be represented and included in government regardless of their community or tribe. I will advocate for the equal and fair distribution of resources to empower minority and marginalized groups” – Paul Mugambi

The senatorial aspirant also seeks to ensure legislation of a minimum guarantee return fund for farmers to ensure each crop is independently guaranteed of their share dependent on their market share.
