Tharaka Nithi Woman Representative, Susan Ngugi, has announced the introduction of simplified proposal templates to streamline the application process for the National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF).
These accessible templates can now be obtained at Chief's camps throughout the county, making it much easier for groups to access the funds they need.
Previously, applicants were burdened with complex and lengthy proposal forms, hindering their ability to access NGAAF funds effectively.
Recognizing this issue, action has been taken to simplify the application process, ensuring that more deserving groups can benefit from these resources, even as Susan Ngugi's commitment to empowering her constituents proves to extend beyond just NGAAF applications.
During a visit to the Gatige Widow Group in Kiang'ondu, Tharaka Nithi County, she highlighted the availability of education bursaries and scholarships through her office.
She emphasized the importance of seizing such opportunities and encouraged the public to make the most of them.
The Gatige Widow Group, whose difficulties in filling out NGAAF proposal forms were brought to the public's attention through media coverage, has now received personal assistance from Susan Ngugi as she guided them through the proposal process and directed them to apply for funding to purchase dairy goats.
Additionally, she offered full scholarship support for one child of their choice and assured others of receiving bursaries.
Susan Ngugi's proactive efforts in simplifying NGAAF applications and promoting educational opportunities underscore her dedication to enhancing the lives of her constituents and fostering community development.
