IMPEACH GOVERNOR NJUKI, LET KAGWIMA TAKE OVER, SAYS KATHWANA BUSINESS COMMUNITY.

Kathwana Business Community has today held peaceful demonstrations to protest what they alleged was transfer of County Headquarters and Services to Kathwana by H.E Governor Muthomi Njuki.

The members who form part of Kathwana Business District slammed the County Government, saying Governor Muthomi Njuki who is facing corruption charges ought to be impeached and replaced by Deputy Governor Francis Kagwima.

"We are asking Governor Muthomi Njuki to see that County Services and all offices resume services at Kathwana. We have witnessed the transfer and relocation of office equipment to different locations across the county which is not in line with the constitution" - Henry Kimwere, Secretary Kathwana Business Community

According to David Muriuki, a stakeholder in Kathwana Business Community, the Headquarters lack proper sanitary and health services and they have vowed to hold demonstrations every Saturday untill their grievances are heard.

The members also want the Governor to ensure completion of stalled County Headquarters buildings.

They went on to criticize the County Executive for trying to sway the public from participating in the demonstrations, saying the Governor ought to have addressed the issue himself instead of using his juniors.
