“YOU ARE NO MATCH FOR ME”- NJUKI TELLS OFF STATE, AUTHORITIES AND OPPONENTS AFTER IEBC CLEARANCE.

Incumbent Tharaka Nithi Governor Muthomi Njuki was on Tuesday cleared by IEBC to seek re-election on a UDA Party ticket, confirming his bid to contest the seat for a second term amid what he termed as malicious efforts to block his candidature.

Governor Njuki accused the deep state, EACC and his opponents for trying to sabotage his re-election bid through court cases and intimidation, saying anyone who thought he would not make it to the ballot should go back to the drawing board.

Njuki held rallies at Kathwana, Marimanti, Chogoria and Chuka towns immediately after being given the greenlight by IEBC, where he took the opportunity to introduce and popularize his new choice of deputy governor Mr Wilson Nyaga.

The appointment comes days after his first choice Mr Njue Njagi was ruled out by IEBC for failing to resign as CECM Agriculture before the February 9th deadline, forcing Njuki to settle for the Muthambi MCA.

The first time Governor and former MP for Chuka/Igambang’ombe rallied support for the Kenya Kwanza Alliance and a William Ruto presidency, asking his supporters to ensure they delivered a win for candidates in all elective positions.
